Sriracha rolls

Did you ever fancy sriracha in a bun? It’s your lucky day, these creamy ’n spicy bad boys are the perfect afternoon snack or soup companion.

You’ll need

220g flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
100g cold butter, cut into cubes
80g cream cheese
1 egg
30g sriracha

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt & pepper. Add butter and cream cheese and knead until crumbly. Add egg and stir until the dough comes together. Wrap in plastic foil & freeze for 20-30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Dust your working surface generously with flour, then roll out the dough into a large rectangle. Trim the edges, then cut into 8 large triangles.

Brush each triangle with sriracha, then carefully fold the long end of the triangle towards the small end. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
