Burnt butter & miso cake squares. Squeeze ’em, eat ’em!

1 tbsp miso
90g cane sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp milk
handful of raisins + 1 tsp flour or cornstarch
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a rectangular baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan on medium heat. Let it simmer until it has a deep brown colour and smells fragrant, then set aside.
In a large bowl, stir together eggs, miso, cane sugar & vanilla extract until fluffy. Slowly add melted butter and stir until incorporated. Add flour & baking powder and stir until smooth.
In a small cup, combine raisins & 1 tsp flour. Shortly mix through the batter. Pour batter into the baking pan, then bake for 25-30 minutes.
