Tahini chocolate chip cookies

You’ll need

100g tahini 
60g cane sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
40g all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp water
20g extra dark chocolate
sea salt flakes


Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

In a large bowl, combine tahini, cane sugar and vanilla extract. Add flour, baking powder and salt until crumbly. Add water until it comes together.

Chop chocolate into fine chunks and add to the dough. Take 1 tbsp of the dough, roll into a ball and flatten onto the baking sheet. Repeat for the remaining dough, then sprinkle with sea salt.

Bake the cookies for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
