Chickpea brownies

“I think we all deserve to give in more into hedonistic tendencies. For me, that means fully letting go and just trying to give into the pleasure of movement. Dancing without thinking, just letting the body do its thing, feeling all the emotions, seeing where it takes you and just enjoying being in a state of flow. You’ll need

150g margarine
100g dark chocolate, chopped
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 can (400g) chickpeas, including aquafaba
80g cane sugar
20g cocoa powder
1 tsp coffee powder
80g flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking pan with parchment paper. Add margarine and chocolate to a small bowl. Microwave for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.

Blitz chickpeas & aquafaba in a food processor until no chunks remain. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour batter into the baking pan, then bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool down slightly before eating.
